Legend has it that The Country Cup was probably created by Eastern Shore RFC member Zeb Banks together with Pictou County RFC over many beers. The Country Cup is contested between Eastern Shore RFC and Pictou County RFC. The two main clubs on the eastern end of Nova Scotia, Canada.
The Country Cup was established in August 2016 with Eastern Shore RFC winning the inaugural cup for the first time in its history.
We hope The Country Cup will continue to be played in a friendly and welcoming manner, which will help the sport of rugby grow and flourish for future generations. The Country Cup promotes rugby in the region and brings both clubs and community closer together through sport.
The Country Cup is contested by Eastern Shore RFC and Pictou County RFC.
